ANU-managed Windows and Mac devices include self-service tools for installing approved software without needing administrative access or IT support. Windows devices use the Company Portal, while Mac devices use Self Service.

Before installing or obtaining any software — including free or cloud-based applications — check the software requests and purchases for requirements and next steps. This process ensures all software meets ANU’s licensing, security, and compatibility standards.
