Access

The Australian National University's HR Management System (HRMS) is the HR Administration System. To get access to the HRMS you will need to:

  1. read the Acceptable Use of Communication and Infrastructure Systems Policy
  2. together with your supervisor, determine the relevant user roles required for you to perform your authorised tasks
  3. complete a Request for Access to HR Management System form, have it signed by the appropriate authority
  4. email the completed form to HRSystems@anu.edu.au for actioning

Password reset

Your password cannot be retrieved, but it can be reset. Password reset requests require verification of your identity, and thus cannot be processed via email.
Call the IT Service Desk on +61 2 6125 4321, select option one then option two for Enterprise Systems password resets.

Password change

You can change your password via Change password on the HRMS login page.

HR Systems staff may, on occasions, be unavailable during the advertised times so they can attend team meetings. A message can be left on voice mail during these times and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Information Technology Services

  • Management of contract with supplier
  • Systems admin support with supplier and systems documentation
  • Management of Server space and backup requirements
  • Integration with other relevant ANU Enterprise Systems in accordance with the ANU Enterprise Architecture
  • Managing downtime, software patching and installation of enhancements.
  • Performance and application monitoring

Business owner

  • Maintenance of relevant ANU Policy
  • Specification of business requirements

Embedded Support Team

  • End user training and support, including user documentation
  • User Acceptance Testing
  • Enabling and removing individual's right to use the system

Unresolved

  • Communication of requests to supplier
  • Delivery of requested enhancements/bug fixes within an adequate time frame
  • Disaster recovery planning
