Curriculum Management System (CMS)

The Curriculum Management System (CMS) provides a structured framework for curriculum management. It stores all the University’s curriculum information and provides a central location for the development, approval and publishing of curriculum items. Curriculum item refers to content created and updated inside CMS (including programs, majors, minors, specialisations, and courses). The CMS is the reference point for all curriculum data, which is published to the Programs and Courses website.

Academic and administrative staff from across the University collaborate through the CMS to:

  • Design and propose new courses and programs
  • View and amend existing courses and programs
  • Create, view and modify class summaries
  • Map courses and programs against competency tables
  • Track and manage the approval workflows for proposed and amended curriculum items
  • Publish approved curriculum items to the Student Administration System (SAS) and the Programs and Courses website
  • Produce BI reports and queries
