ANU Insight is the University's Management Information Portal. ANU Staff can access the portal in order to run reports to assist them in undertaking their roles and responsibilities.

Planning & Performance Measurement administers this reporting environment and develops content in this reporting environment on behalf of ANU data owners who wish to have their reporting and data distributed and available.

ANU Insight has replaced the previous information portal called iMIS.

Planning & Performance Measurement along with its Divisional Stakeholders has a roadmap for delivery and enhancement of the reporting available. New reports in new areas will continue to be delivered on a regular basis.

Planning & Performance Measurement is constantly enhancing the reports available through this environment, however should the reports you are seeking not be available through the portal Planning & Performance Measurement would be happy to facilitate manual extraction and preparation of reporting on request.

Summary of available ANU Insight reports

A document providing a summary of the currently available ANU Insight reports can be accessed from the ‘Reference documents’ section on the right of this webpage. For each report, this document provides the report name, report description, who would use the report and how to access the report.

To apply for access to ANU Insight, please complete and return the ANU Insight user access request form

Access to ANU Insight off campus

The ANU Insight system utilises a range of sensitive information, as a result it is secured and requires that staff use reverse proxy or VPN while they are travelling, based in a regional office or working from home. 

The Reverse Proxy Login service - is web-based and does not require the user to download software. 

The Virtual Private Network (VPN) - uses software called Cisco AnyConnect that facilitates a remote connection to the University's network.
