The data available for the Voice Survey reports is for the years 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2018.
In order improve our University, we need to understand what is working well, and what is not working so well.
The ANU Staff Engagement Survey presents all full time and part time staff with the opportunity to provide their views on matters affecting their work at ANU. It is conducted anonymously and the results presented in a manner which will prevent any individual responses from being identified.
- Obtained feedback on the views of staff across the University on issues such as: leadership; teamwork; communication and cooperation; job satisfaction; and general overall effectiveness; and
- Analysed previous benchmark data and continue to track and compare how we are progressing over time in improving the perceived quality of working at ANU.
The results will be used by the University to identify and as necessary, develop strategies to improve our workplace practices and address any major issues raised.
These voice dashboards contain the survey data to enable decisions that aim to deliver a range of benefits as mentioned above.
The voice dashboards are delivered through ANU Insight to improve the efficiency of this process and reduce unnecessary and potentially erroneous processing.
About the dashboards
The data in the dashboards is current for the years 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2018. As further surveys happen this new data will be added to the dashboards. The results given by the dashboards is restricted in some area by the availability of the data.
There are currently two dashboards with the second dashboard having three different options.
The “ANU overview and benchmark” dashboard provides a graphic of each survey theme and can be displayed against a Go8 and Other Universities benchmark year for a comparison.
The “College and business unit overview” dashboard provides information based on area, theme and a tabular comparison. Once the dashboard type is selected further options are available for the survey year, theme and organisation.
Obtaining access to the reports
Access to the Voice Dashboards has been pre-approved for all D3 and above delegation staff. Some HR professional and service division staff have also been approved as nominated.
If you require access to the voice dashboards please fill out the ANU Insight user access request form. Once it is complete you can send it back to the ANU Insight Service Desk via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by internal mail.
Your approval will need to be approved by your work area and also by HR Services prior to you gaining access.
