Post COVID-19 parking arrangements - Staged return to ANU Acton campus

The ANU Acton campus parking arrangements have changed. The following changes will be implemented from 2 November 2021 to maintain the safety and wellbeing of the campus community.

Parking office reception

The parking office reception in the Anthony Low building is open from 10:00am-12 noon and 2:00-4:00pm Monday to Friday. Individuals can still contact the parking office Monday – Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm by email at parking@anu.edu.au.

Parking permit

As per the information provided in On & Off Campus parking will be free in Paid Parking areas until 31 December 2021. As a result, drivers do not need to purchase a permit or pay to park using CellOPark. Drivers parking in Pay & Display zones must pay to do so.

Cancellation of your permit is not automatic. You must log in to your vPermit account and Request Cancellation.

Payments, refunds and infringements

During the staged return to campus payment of infringement penalties may be made by telephoning 61250179 or via EFT. If you wish to pay via EFT please email the infringement notice number to parking@anu.edu.au. A response will be emailed to you including the amount payable, due date for payment and EFT banking details.

We are unable to accept cash payments.

As advised by the university executive during the shutdown, a permit’s cancellation cannot be backdated and refunds will be held as a credit against the cost of the permit holder’s next permit. Permits paid by payroll deduction will not be refunded.

Infringement notices

Infringement notices will not be issued in Paid Parking zones. Parking infringement notices will, however, be issued to any vehicle found parked on campus in contravention of the road rules.

For further clarity on the above items, individuals may contact the parking office Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm by email at parking@anu.edu.au.

Applications for infringement withdrawal, dispute liability and extensions of time to pay are still able to be processed through the applicable e-form at https://services.anu.edu.au/campus-environment/transport-parking/parking-infringements or by email to parking@anu.edu.au.
