How to reconnect Wi-Fi on mobile devices after password reset

After resetting your password you will be required to reconnect to ANU Secure. 

Windows laptop

1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Select Network & Internet.
3. Select Wi-Fi.
4. Select Manage known networks.
5. Select ANU-Secure.
6. Select Forget.
7. Select Show available network.
8. Select ANU-Secure > Connect.
9. Select Connect again.
10. Enter your University IDand your new Identity password.
11. Check the box that advises to use my network account.
12. Select Connect.

iOS

To re-authenticate if prompted;

1. Enter your University ID and new Identity password.
2. Select Apply.

If you are not prompted. Access your mobile devices Wi-Fi settings.

1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Select Wi-Fi.
3. Select ANU Secure.
4. Select Forget this Network.
5. When prompted select Forget.
6. Under Choose a Network, select ANU Secure.
7. Enter your University ID and new Identity password.
8. Select Join.
9. A certificate will appear, Select Trust.

Once complete you will be able to access the ANU Secure Wi-Fi network.

MAC

1. Select the Wi-Fi symbol along the top menu bar.
2. Select Open Network Preferences at the bottom of the drop down menu.
3. Select Wi-Fi in the menu on the left.
4. Select Advanced located at the bottom right of the pop-up window.
5. Select ANU Secure then the - (minus) sign.
6. Select OK.
7. Select the Wi-Fisymbol again in the menu bar. 
8. If Wi-Fi is off, select Turn Wi-Fi on.
9. Select ANU Secure.
10. Enter your username University ID.
11. Enter your new Identity password.

Android

1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Navigate to Connections.
3. Select Wi-Fi
4. Select ANU Secure network and hold finger down to open.
5. A pop up will appear, Select Forget Network.
6. To reconnect, select ANU Secure in the Wi-Fi menu.
7. For identity use your Univeristy ID.
8. Enter your new Identity password.
9. Under CA Certificate, select a Certificate.
10. Select Validate.
11. Select Connect.
