Our responsibilities 

CLT supports the ANU Learning & Teaching strategy’s vision for creating  learning experiences that support and inspire our students by: 

• Acting as a knowledge, practice and support hub for educational design, digital technologies and pedagogy 
• Working in partnership to enhance the University’s learning environments, and to implement key digital learning and teaching initiatives, including the Learning Ecosystem program. 
• Providing professional development and learning pathways for ANU academic staff to enhance their teaching 
• Promoting the value of teaching, including sharing stories through the Learning & Teaching blog, celebrating teaching excellence through ANU teaching Awards, and supporting professional recognition through the Education Fellowship Scheme. 

We operate the ANU Continuing Education to enable members of the wider community to extend and enrich their learning. We also provide support for the Colleges in coordinating and hosting ANU Microcredentials, Professional Learning and the ANU Extension program for high achieving Year 11 and 12 school students. 

Who we work with 

We are part of the remit of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching), within the portfolio of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic). We work closely with learning and teaching support teams in Colleges and Schools, and with other ANU service divisions including ITS, Careers, Library and more.
