Web Governance Board

Following extensive consultation with stakeholders from across the University, the Web Governance Board was established in October 2024. Reporting to the Digital and Services Strategy Board, the Web Governance Board oversees the delivery and benefits realisation of all web-related activities and initiatives across the University, ensuring they align with the ANU Web Strategy and wider strategic objectives. The Web Governance Board provides leadership, direction, and accountability for the University's online presence, while also offering a framework to empower our staff to deliver a world-class web experience to the ANU community.

Digital Plan User Group

In March 2023, the University established the ANU Digital Plan User Group. The User Group includes representatives from all Colleges and Divisions, with a diverse mix of role types and people, ensuring that the voices of ANU staff, including accessibility and usability needs, are considered at every step of the Digital Plan.

Stream governance

Each Digital Plan Stream is governed by a group responsible for ensuring work is planned and prioritised in alignment with clear strategic objectives and that outcomes are tracked and measured. Each of these groups is led by an Executive Sponsor who is ultimately accountable for the successful delivery of the stream’s strategic roadmap. Stream governance groups provide strategic guidance, monitor progress against plans, timelines and budgets, as well as oversee stakeholder engagement, issue management and mitigation to support stream success.
