Commercial Services are responsible for the negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management and administration of commercial occupancy agreements across the campus. All external entities are required to have documented approval from the University (a signed lease or licence) prior to occupying space at the University.
Some examples of external entities occupying space at ANU include the following:
Retail operators, such as takeaway food and coffee shops.
Service providers, such as a bike shop or pharmacy.
Commercial groups, such as professional service providers.
Research groups and not-for-profit organisations.
The Commercial Services team is located within the Facilities & Services Division, operating under the Associate Director, Corporate.
