The FAQ section contains frequently asked questions that have been collated throughout the maintenance and service of the Car Share Scheme.

General questions

1. How do I sign Up?

Email UPCO for unique invitation via contracts.office@anu.edu.au, see sections above ‘Registering with Flexicar…’

If you register without following an email invitation link, you will find your account linked to public commercially available rate plans (which are slightly more expensive per hour, and may include fees – compare Flexicar offers here);
Even if using an “@anu.edu.au” address, you will not receive ANU Business Account benefits unless registered via unique email invitation link.
Flexicar may reserve not to migrate your account to ANU Rates if incorrectly activated via public rate plans.

2. I can't find keys/ fuel card / instructions?

Please look in doors/console-boxes/pouches/visors. Call Flexicar directly via 1300 36 37 80 or info@flexicar.com.au - Then, after calling Flexicar, please report any/all issues and feedback to contracts.office@anu.edu.au.

3. No access card/fob!?

That’s right, you book via app and use the PINpad on car windscreen to unlock/lock – everything you need is kept inside the car including physical keys as required.

4. Somebody left Flexicar running / parked in incorrectly on campus!?

For on-campus parking issues or hazards caused by Flexicar, please notify security@anu.edu.au providing Rego and Location details for the vehicle requiring attention;
ANU Security has admin-access card, able to move Flexicar vehicles back to their correct pods, and will log matters for contracts.office@anu.edu.au to resolve.
