Office of Research and Information Services

The Office of Research and Information Services provides leadership, advice and support in the operations and management of research services in support of the University's strategic goals. 

We support Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Lachlan Blackhall, and work closely together with other areas of the Research and Innovation (R&I) Portfolio: the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Graduate Research), Research Initiatives and Infrastructure and Research, Partnerships and Translation (including ANU Enterprise). This reflects our commitment to facilitating the delivery of an integrated suite of services in partnership with ANU research community. Our approach to research support is based on connection and collaboration – both within the Portfolio and with College professional and academic staff – to enable the delivery of the University research goals.

These activities are supported by a number of Committees, Authorised Delegates and Research Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, and strive for consistent improvements to business operations and service delivery.
