Water outage planned for Saturday 18 November 2017

13 November 2017

A number of buildings near the Black Mountain end of University Avenue will have no access to running water on Saturday 18 November 2017.

These works are needed to divert water away from the Union Court Revitalisation site, and have been planned to occur on the weekend to limit disruptions.

The outage will affect all buildings occupied by the ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science, and some buildings occupied by the ANU College of Science and ANU College of Health & Medicine.

Student accommodation, ANU sport and libraries will not be impacted by the water outage.

All water services — including water for bathrooms, kitchens, sprinklers, laboratories, emergency showers and eye wash stations — will be turned off in the following buildings from 7am Saturday 18 November. Water services are expected to return by 5pm the same day.
