The ANU SAGE Self-Assessment Team (SAT) has welcomed a new Chair and several new members, who will help oversee and guide the preparation of the University’s application for a Bronze institutional Athena SWAN award.
The Self-Assessment Team welcomes the following new members:
- Provost Professor Mike Calford - SAT Chair
- Associate Professor Cathy Banwell – ANU College of Health and Medicine
- Dr Jananie William – ANU College of Business and Economics
- Mr Geoff Tattam – Associate Director Culture & Development, Human Resources
“I’m pleased to work alongside my colleagues from across ANU on the SAGE Project, to advance gender equity at ANU,” said Professor Mike Calford.
“The Self-Assessment Team will develop a four year action plan that sets out the steps ANU will take to become a more inclusive and equitable University. I’m looking forward to guiding this process.”
“Thank you to the outgoing Chair, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Professor Margaret Harding for her ongoing commitment to the SAGE project, and gender equity at ANU,” he said.
ANU will apply for a Bronze Institutional Athena SWAN award in 2019, as a priority in the current ANU Strategic Plan.
