Overarching SASH Policy

13 Dec 2018

The Respectful Relationships team has drafted a Sexual Misconduct Policy for the University. This policy was discussed among key stakeholders at a planning day for the Respectful Relationships Unit and will undergo consultation with staff and student communities early in the 2019 academic year.

The draft policy highlights that ANU has a responsibility to provide a safe, inclusive and respectful campus where its members can study, work and live free from sexual assault, sexual harassment and all other forms of sexual misconduct. Further, it outlines a set of overarching principles and the University's commitment to prevent and respond appropriately and effectively to incidents of sexual assault, sexual harassment and all other forms of sexual misconduct. It also outlines the responsibilities of all staff, students and members of the community to support this policy and foster a campus free from sexual misconduct.
