New Parental Leave Entitlements

We are pleased to announce the early implementation of improved Parental Leave entitlements for staff at ANU. 

These entitlements, as outlined in clause 38 of The Australian National University Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021, were to become effective once our new Enterprise Agreement has been approved by the Fair Work Commission.

The University has decided to allow staff early access to these enhanced Parental Leave provisions from 27 October 2017.

The University will contact all affected staff who commenced Parental Leave from 27 October 2017 (including partner leave) to assist them with amending their leave arrangements, and ensure that they have the opportunity to take advantage of the enhanced entitlements.
