Improved process for special consideration launched

A simplification of the special consideration for assessment process was launched on 26 August. The new process will make it easier for students to lodge an application as well as improve administrative data capture and analytical reporting.

Staff can direct students to a new online form available from one location, submitted to one location and allowing supporting documentation to be accepted online.

Students are being encouraged to use the new form on the website:

Following the form submission by students:

  • an automatic acknowledgement email with information about the process will be sent to students
  • while electronic submission of supporting documentation is accepted, original documents should be retained to verify a claim on request
  • students will be advised of the progression of their application based on the assessment for completeness by EGaP.
