Enterprise Agreement approval 2017-2021

The Australian National University Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 was approved by the Fair Work Commission on Friday 16 March 2018.

This Agreement replaces the ANU Enterprise Agreement 2013-2016, and will commence operation from Friday 23 March 2018. This means that all employment conditions and entitlements contained in this Agreement will come into effect as at this date.

The University will be running a series of all-staff information sessions to ensure staff are informed of the key changes contained within this Agreement. The University is working through the process of updating all relevant University policies and procedures, and developing a series of factsheets and guides to support the implementation of this Agreement.

The Agreement provides staff with a range of improved employment conditions, and extends greater flexibility in some key areas to the University. Of particular note, this Agreement delivers enhanced leave entitlements and leave management options, expanded employment categories, streamlined severance arrangements, and a series of fair and sustainable salary increases over the life of the Agreement.
