Endowment Review Project: Unearthing inspiring stories

6 February 2018

ANU has a long and rich history of giving and is committed to philanthropic growth in the future. But to move forward successfully, it helps to understand your past.

For the past 12 months, the ambitious Endowment Review Project has seen AR&P scouring the archives to rediscover the lost stories of all ANU Endowment funds. This involves searching archives for originating documents, reviewing financial data and creating a case study of each fund for future reference.

This fascinating project has unearthed countless inspiring stories that motivate the endowment research team to ensure that every fund has a strong governance foundation which aligns with the ANU philanthropic vision and honours the donor’s wishes. All of ANU will benefit from this project as it will provide improved access to fund purpose information and transparent financial reporting.
