Gender affirmation guide

This Gender affirmation guide has been developed by People and Culture in consultation with affirming staff. The guide provides: 

• information around frequently asked questions for affirming staff, their supervisors, and colleagues,
• links to resources, support services and external organisations,
• information on accessing gender affirmation leave and flexible work arrangements under the ANU Enterprise Agreement, and,
• a template plan to help staff consider the steps that they would like to take in their affirmation journey.

People and Culture would like to thank all transgender and gender diverse staff who shared their stories and feedback in the development of this guide.
