A scientist at heart, Jonathan has extensive experience within ANU – both as a graduate student in Science Communication and as a staff member for the past 14 years. Jonathan commenced his time at ANU in the College of Science before working as Executive Officer to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). This experience provided him with a broader view of the university and the sector and resulted in a move into the newly created International Strategy & Partnerships team in 2016. Jonathan now leads the team as Director of the ANU International Office (AIO), responsible for establishing and implementing university global priorities and coordinating international engagement across the university.
