Project Management Fundamentals (HRCD19)
Course overview
This one-day program focuses on the core elements of the project planning and monitoring process. Participants are exposed to the key elements of a five-step project methodology and four practical templates that may be utilised for post program projects.
Learning outcomes
- The 5 stages of a project to be known at a conceptual level
- The role of the Project Manager to be articulated
- Simple project scoping documentation to be completed
- Stakeholders and their communications requirements to be identified
- The concept of project risk to be respected.
- A simple timeline to be derived and monitored

Suitable for all professional staff who contribute to planning projects within a project team and for those managing less complex projects.

9.30am-5.00pm (one day).
Cost
Free of charge for Australian National University staff
Please note a cancellation fee of $100.00 will be charged where notification of non-attendance is not received within 5 business days of the program commencement date. A cancellation fee will not be charged if the area nominates someone else to attend the program in your place.
