Human Ethics training

NEW Research Ethics Management System (REMS) will go live on 8 August 2023

The ANU is replacing the ARIES system for the submission, review and approval of human ethics applicaitons.

Monday 31 July

This is the final day to enter human ethics protocols into ARIES

Researchers and committee members will no longer have access to ARIES to make changes to Human ethics protocols.

Tuesday 8 August

REMS is Live for all human ethics

All active human protocols and attachments will be moved into REMS onto a form called the Human Legacy form

If you have an active protocol, you will only be able to access it in REMS from this date onwards

All NEW protocols will be completed using a NEW form called the Human Research Ethics Application form (HREA)

For more information on the new REMS system visit the REMS SharePoint site or contact the REMS project team to request access to the sandbox test environment.
