What are the Salary assumptions for TM1?

Is there a list for all the Salary Levels & rates used in TM1?

Salary level information comes from the Salary Grade tables. This contains generic information on current job codes and current university salary rates. This is not specific by employee.

What is the maximum amount of new staff I can add?

You are able to add up to 20 new staff

What Pay was used for the Salary Load/Calculation?

The Salary data in TM1 is as of Pay 18 (FNE 27/08/2014) and has been annualised to calculate the 2015 Budget Figure. If an employee has an irregular pay for this pay period then the employee will need to be manually adjusted.

Has the EB increase been included in calculations?

Yes the EB increase has been applied from Period 7 to Base Salary calculations, you will need to adjust Allowances manually to include any increase.

If an employee record contains an End date and "replace role" is set to "Yes",then an "R" employee number will be created. This number will be identical to the original employee number except being prefixed with "R" instead of "U". For example replacing "U9999999" would become "R9999999".

Is there any alternative way to access Salary Entry Forms?

Yes, details can be found in attached document.

Any employee (within security access) can be looked up using the Single Employee Input form without having to go back through the Detailed Salary report. More details can be found in the attached document.

What are the differences between the New Employees and Casual Employee Input Form?
