ANU Virtual Information Commons

Business owner: Information Technology Services

ANU has launched an at home access solution to the software applications they rely on for their studies by establishing an ANU Virtual Information Commons Remote Desktop.  This solution is now ready for student use.

Through the new Virtual Information Commons, students can access programs available on the campus Information Commons computers from their own home computer.  Currently it contains the majority of applications with more to be added over the coming weeks.

The process is simple:

Connect to GlobalProtect* (you may need to Download client first) – then you’ll just need your ANU login and password details.  The following Knowledge Base Articles provide information and instruction for use, including a list of currently available software.

* Note: you will need to disconnect any other VPN session before connecting to GlobalProtect.
