Under the Indigenous Professional Staff Grants Program there will be $125,000 available per annum across two grant rounds.

Grants will be for Colleges, Schools, Service Divisions or other ANU Business Units for initiatives that support employment outcomes for Indigenous professional staff at ANU.  Successful areas are required to match the grant with an equal funding commitment.

Initiatives could include:

  • salary subsidy for an ongoing identified position
  • subsidy for engaging an Indigenous Trainee under the ANU Indigenous Trainee Program
  • salary subsidy for a temporary secondment for existing ANU Indigenous staff member
  • funding to support the engagement of an Indigenous cadet.
  • specialist Indigenous Recruitment Services through external firms.

Please see the Guidelines under ‘Policies’ for more information.
