Electricity Infrastructure – Bulk Supply points

This project establishes two electricity bulk supply points, one adjacent to the Packard Wing (Building #40A) and another one within the Dickson Parking Station (Building #106) on the Acton campus. Bulk supply points supply high voltage electricity to the Acton campus through the campus wide electrical network and infrastructure. Ensuring security and reliability of electricity supply to the Acton campus, as well as creating capacity in the electricity infrastructure, is a key outcome of this project and will support the University’s capital works programme.

These bulk supply points are delivered as permanent switch-room buildings that follow the lines of existing structures integrated to the landscape.

Construction has commenced in August 2018.
