Business Partnering

The Business Partnering team support leaders and staff to proactively identify human resources strategies that align to and support the overall strategic and operational goals of the University. The Business Partnering team are strategic partners with a focus on workforce planning, workplace relations, learning and development, organisational development and implementing HR initiatives to drive organisational success. 

We support the full employment life cycle, from role design and appointment to cessation/termination. We work very closely with staff across the University to facilitate recruitment (advertised/non-advertised), role design and planning, induction, support for employment entitlements and conditions, cessation of employment, and reporting to senior management and supervisors. We develop and implement HR strategies across the College such as initiatives to improve wellbeing, diversity and performance.

We provide case management support for employee relations matters such as performance, conduct, and ill health, supporting supervisors to navigate ANU policy and employment legislation. 

Our teams are embedded across the University, within close proximity to each of the client portfolios they support.
