Canvas Support hub

Get support with ANU Canvas on our Canvas Support hub (opens in ANU Sharepoint). Find resources designed to help staff prepare, manage, and deliver courses effectively. Create assessments, quizzes and assignments and use marking and feedback tools such as Speedgrader and the Markbook. There is also a calendar of upcoming Canvas training workshops and instructions on how to lodge a ticket with specific Canvas queries and issues.

Understand digital learning technologies integrated into Canvas such as Canvas Studio, Class Recordings (EchoVideo lecture capture), H5P, Padlet,  Proctorio, Readings (Leganto) and Turnitin CPF.

Managing access to course sites with CAT App

The Canvas Support hub also provides guidance on using the Courses and Teachers (CAT) App. CAT App is the ANU tool for managing access to Canvas course sites. CAT App provides a reliable and efficient way for colleges and schools to assign teaching roles and manage who has access to what. CAT App resources include a quick start guide and merging Canvas courses with CAT App.

Logging in to CAT App

1. Open your web browser and go to: https://cat.app.anu.edu.au
2. Log in using your ANU username and password. You do not need a separate password for CAT App.
