Mathematics and technical computing.

Matlab is a programming language and numerical computation software for data analysis, signal and image processing, visualisation and algorithm development. It provides functionality for performing mathematical calculations, visualising data and building models. Matlab supports tasks for signal processing, machine learning, prototyping, image analysis and simulation.

Matlab extensive library of built-in functions and toolboxes enables users to perform complex mathematical calculations, process large datasets, and create sophisticated graphical representations of data. The University’s Licence Agreement includes access to all toolboxes.

How to access

The University has an Enterprise Licence for Matlab. It can be installed through Company Portal (Windows) and Self Service (Mac).

For personal devices, go to the ANU Matlab Portal.

For further support with access allocation and installation, please submit a Software Request ticket through the Service Desk portal.
