Psychology Building

The PSYC 1.50 is a learning space located at #39 Psychology Building. The room is equipped with wireless presentation capability, laptop input connections, and an ANU resident PC.

This space contains an ANU resident PC that can be used for presentations if you do not want to use your own device. This resident PC is located on the lectern. You may need to access it if you wish to connect a USB storage device.
Using the touch panel, located on the lectern, turn the system on, if it is not already, by touching the screen. Once the system has booted up, the PC will now be presented on to the preview monitor and main display by default.
You will need to log on to the PC using your ANU credentials. Use the keyboard and mouse, located on the lectern, to control this computer. You can adjust the audio level by using the slider on the right-hand side of the touch panel. Press the “Audio Mute” button to mute and unmute the audio.

This space is equipped with wireless presentation functionality, this allows you to present your device through the audio visual system wirelessly when connected to the ANU-Secure Wi-Fi.
Using the touch panel, located on the lectern, turn the system on, if it is not already, by touching the screen. Once the system has booted up, press “Wireless”.
The wireless presentation system will now display instructions on the preview monitor and main display. Follow these instructions on how to wirelessly present your device.

This space has the ability to present a laptop or other portable device, such as a tablet, through the audio visual system.
Connect your device to the HDMI connection located on the lectern. If your device does not have an HDMI connection, please utilise an adapter which will need to be provided by yourself for your particular device. Alternatively, you can utilise wireless presentation.
Using the touch panel, located on the lectern, turn the system on, if it is not already, by touching the screen. Once the system has completed booting up, select “Laptop”. If the “Laptop” button is greyed out, you will need to connect your device before proceeding. Your laptop will now be presented on to the preview monitor and main display.
You can adjust the audio level by using the slider on the right-hand side of the touch panel. Press the “Audio Mute” button to mute and unmute the audio.
