The Compliance teams are responsible for management and monitoring of ANU compliance with both internal academic accreditation policy and external legislation relating to the education functions. This legislation includes the Higher Education Standards Framework, the Higher Education Support Act and ESOS legislation.
The Academic Compliance team supports and monitors compliance with ANU internal academic accreditation requirements. They provide advice on program compliance with the Accreditation Handbook, support through provision of digital solutions to compliance processes, and monitor quality of documentation prior to submission to AQAC.

The Regulatory Compliance team supports and monitors the institution wide compliance with key education legislation including:
- Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF)
- Higher Education Support Act (HESA)
- Education Services for Overseas Students Act (ESOS)
- National Code of Practice for Providers of Education Services for Overseas Students (the National Code ESOS)
