Which passwords do people use to log into ARIES?

People should use their university id and password to log into ARIES.

There is a 10 MB limit on ARIES uploads, and 20 MB limt on email - so where should publications officers store scans above this size?

Please bring large files in on a disk or portable storage device to Research Services.

Is it okay to break a file up? Aka. To scan a book but save it in parts?

Yes it is ok, the preference is for one high quality file.

There appear to be a lot of duplicates in ARIES that are read-only/accepted  - are you looking at that? Are we expected to let you know?

Research Services do have a quality assurance report to find duplicates. It is not perfect so please notify Research Services at publications.collection@anu.edu.au if you have duplicate records.
