Visio is a diagramming and vector graphics software. It enables users to create professional diagrams, including flowcharts, organisational charts, network diagrams and business process models. It provides a rich library of built-in templates, shapes, objects and stencils to help users visualise complex information and processes.
Visio supports data linking, enabling diagrams to be connected to external data sources for dynamic updates. It also offers collaboration features, allowing multiple users to work on diagrams simultaneously and share them easily. Visio integrates with other Microsoft Office applications, enhancing productivity and streamlining workflows.
How to access
Access to Microsoft Visio requires a purchase of a subscription licence. Each subscription licence allows for up to five concurrent installations of the Visio desktop client.
It can be installed from the Company Portal (Windows) but requires a subscription licence to use. There is no Mac equivalent.
