ANU Researcher Development

ANU Researcher Development is a team of four researcher developers and one administrator who specialise in professional development for our HDR candidates and researchers.  

The team run many events and activities each year, overseen by the Director of Researcher Development, Professor Inger Mewburn (@thesiswhisperer), who is an active researcher and teacher in the field of research education 

The rest of the team are: 

Dr Cally Guerinexpert in research writing, thesis construction and supervision practice. Dr Guerin is also an active researcher in the field of research education. 

Dr Lindsay Hoganexpert in employability, project management, industry engagement and commercialisation. 

Simon Clewsexpert in research communication, writing, publishing, screen and stage creation and performance 

The team are ably supported by Barkha Basak, who provides administrative support. You can contact Barkha on researcherdevelopment@anu.edu.au – she will answer or direct your inquiry to the right member of the team.
