New HDR Milestone eForms are finally here. Log on through ISIS (navigate to ISIS > Research > Research Reports). Select the milestone (‘Begin eForm’). Once complete and submitted you will automatically receive confirmation, and a copy of your milestones eForm. The research integrity training course is now part of the HDR Milestone system so your records will automatically be updated when you complete the test.
Westpac Future Leaders Scholarships for new applicants for PhD or Masters are open (applications close 31 August). The scholarships are valued at up to $120,000 over 2-3 years. Read more about last years’ successful ANU students here.
The PVC (Innovation) team and the French Embassy organised a magnificent Australia-France 36-hour entrepreneurship challenge for teams of PhD students last month. The winning team included two ANU students, while the runner-up team had one. The winning team gets a trip to France. We hope to repeat this event in future so watch for it.
Congratulations to Stacy-ann Robinson, from the Fenner School of Environment and Society: the first ANU recipient of the Fox International Fellowship at Yale. We are partners with Yale and other world-renowned partner universities in this funded graduate student exchange program to do a year’s research at Yale.
Finally ANU’s strategic planning process is still underway - you can still help shape the ANU’s strategic direction for the next 10 years! The final HDR forum is on July 5th, but you can also attend a public forum on any one of the 12 themes.
