The workshop is designed for students starting their research degree. It covers: how to select information sources appropriate to specific research needs, how to analyse a research topic and formulate an accurate search strategy, how to conduct effective keyword searches using Boolean operators and how to limit, focus and expand search results. Search examples from attendees' research projects will be used.
