Raising your research profile

Disseminating research and developing your profile as a serious researcher involves much more than writing about good research. This workshop will help you choose the right outlet for your work, navigate submission and peer review processes and understand bibliometrics and open access options. It will also explore how to turn your article or chapter into a blog post.

By the end of this workshop you will:

• Strategically target appropriate journals for your research
• Understand the submission and peer review processes
• Create a blog post from your article or chapter

This workshop series is available to all HDR students. It is also part of the Science, Health and Medicine Career Development Framework program and can be counted as a valid activity. All these workshops will help you earn CDS points!
