This session is a briefing by the University's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on protecting yourself and the University online.

 

In  this session the CISO will discuss:

  • Best practices for protecting ourselves and the university online.
  • Protecting data and avoiding scams.
  • Password protection.
  • Reporting incidents.

11 March 2020

This session will be presented by Dr. Stephen Dann a Senior Lecturer in CBE, and is on the topic of problem solving in ANU finance.

 

In this session Dr. Dann will cover the following topics:

  • Experience how and when to use particular strategies for problem solving.
  • Engage in active listening including non-judgemental reflection, and non-projective questioning technique.
  • Apply the Lego Serious Play (LSP) meaning making techniques.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate the LSP process into your work.
  • Play with Lego in the name of management science and observational research.
