Preparing for examination
As you near the end of your project, it’s time to focus on how you bring together years of research into one coherent thesis to present to examiners. This workshop will focus on how you can structure your document to make it easy for examiners to understand the importance of your contribution. We will look at successful strategies for writing Abstracts, Introductions and Conclusions, consider the real purpose of the Literature Review, and explore how to link the whole project together.
By the end of this workshop you will be able to
· match Abstracts, Introductions and Conclusions appropriately
· understand the requirements of the Literature Review
· Implement strategies to link the whole project together
This workshop series is available to all HDR students. It is also part of the Science, Health and Medicine Career Development Framework program and can be counted as a valid activity. All these workshops will help you earn CDS points!
