Course Overview

This one day workshop supports participants to:

  • Communicate to influence
  • Give constructive feedback
  • Develop an effective working relationship with management
  • Develop a greater understanding of the difficulty’s and challenges managers face and how to support them

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand different work styles, behavioural styles and management styles
  • Learn techniques and strategies to manage their managers expectations
  • Develop personal strategies to communicate, disagree, influence and negotiate with their manager
  • Understand how upward feedback works and what is involved
  • Learn how to drive processes and agree on goals and expectations

Cost

$175.00 per participant

The following charges will apply for non-attendance at a workshop with cost unless the registrant nominates a colleague (who meets the eligibility criteria for the course) to attend in their place.

  1. Notification of cancellation received within 0 – 5 working days of the course date will incur a charge equivalent to 100% of course fees
  2. Notification of cancellation received within 6 – 10 working days of the course date will incur a charge equivalent to 50% of course fees

Please note for non-attendance due to illness or caring responsibilities, reasonable evidence will be required to waive the non-attendance fee.
