Maintaining research/writing energy

Are you feeling stuck at the desk for hours but not making progress? Are you bored, even a bit lonely, and your supervisor is never around? This workshop is aimed at mid-candidature HDRs who need new energy to maintain their motivation. We identify different ways HDRs can build collaborative research communities online and in person to support their work.

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • overcome isolation during a research degree
  • seek support from research communities
  • renew your energy for your project

This workshop series is available to all HDR students. It is also part of the Science, Health and Medicine Career Development Framework program and can be counted as a valid activity. All these workshops will help you earn CDS points!
