Who should attend

This course is designed for all staff and students working with chemicals, specifically liquid nitrogen. In certain areas, it is a requirement for staff and students to successfully complete this course prior to work/study being carried out within the laboratory.

Workshop Overview

This is an online module within the PULSE learning management systems.

This module will cover the properties of liquid nitrogen including burns, explosions, asphyxiation, and how to use liquid nitrogen safely.

 

When are the courses held

The Liquid Nitrogen (WHHR39) module is available on Pulse. It is made up of two modules that must all be completed, and can be found under the WHS-Chemical and Radiation Safety heading.
