HDR Supervision at ANU Workshops

Provider business unit: HDR Supervision Development Team »

Higher Degree Research (HDR) Supervision at ANU Workshops are a core component of the ANU HDR Supervision Development Framework, and one of two ways to join the ANU HDR Supervisor Register in 2021.

HDR Supervision at ANU Workshops are directed at all ANU HDR supervisors, whether experienced or new to supervision. The one-hour HDR Supervision at ANU Workshop is one pathway to initial HDR Supervisor registration; the other is the online HDR Supervision at ANU module available through Pulse (for experienced supervisors; for those new to supervision).

HDR Supervision at ANU Workshops – 2021

Facilitators – Professor Peter Kanowski, Deputy Dean (HDR Supervision) and Dr Cally Guerin, Researcher Developer (Researcher Development).

Focus – The HDR Supervision at ANU Workshops situate HDR supervision in the context of global and national good practice, and the ANU policy framework; explores core elements of HDR supervision; addresses common challenges supervisors can face; and provides a platform for further supervision development. These workshops are currently offered only online.

2021 schedule
