The Research Services Division is currently supporting researchers to identify the likelihood of their research activity being exposed to the DTC Act. A number of DTCA Research Coordinators have been identified in key subject matter areas where there may be exposure to the legislation and they will be able to assist in assessing the impact on relevant research group activities within schools and centres.
Process and Assessment
Contact your local DTCA Coordinator in the first instance to assist you determine the exposure of your research activity to the DTC Act using the DECO online tools including the DSGL (regulated or unregulated). If you want to export a regulated good or technology under the DSGL, contact Maria Davern, Research Services Division (email@example.com) to apply for a DECO permit to export DSGL goods and technology by supply or publication or brokering.
