New University Parking System

The new parking system for the ANU has been released. The new system includes a virtual parking permit (vPermit) and a new pay as you go parking system called CellOPark.

How will it improve our services?

The new system is an easy alternative to traditional parking permits or pay & display ticket machines. It will be:

  • simple to use
  • virtual
  • largely self service

What's involved?

Permits will allow staff to register and manage their parking permit account online. Open staff and students (eligibility conditions apply), vPermits will be available for a minimum of one month and a maximum of twelve.

Payment for vPermits will be available online using credit or debit card or in person at the Parking Office using credit card, EFTPOS, cash or cheque.  As with the current parking permits, eligible staff can nominate payment via payroll deduction.

The CellOPark Pay as You Go system enables users to only pay for the time they park on campus. Open to staff, students and visitors, users complete a one-time registration and then can start and stop their parking using the CellOPark App or their mobile phone. CellOPark Pay as You Go will be available from February 2015 and users can register via CellOPark.
