Functions on Campus Project

This project has been completed. Please refer to the Functions on Campus webpage for all information and support for this system.

What are we trying to achieve?

The Functions on Campus project streamlines, simplifies, standardises, and digitalises the current paper-based process to arrange a function on campus. The project delivers an eForm to event organisers (students, staff or external applicants) that replaces the current paper-based application form.

This is a collaborative effort between various areas of the University including Facilities and Services, Intelledox Digital Transformation Centre, Information Technology Services, Planning and Performance Measurement, ANUSA, PARSA, ANU Sports and Recreation, Divisional, College and School staff.

Delivering improved services:

The new Functions on Campus eForm:

  • replaces the current manual application forms
  • streamlines the stakeholder engagement process
  • simplifies the approval process.

Benefits – This eForm:

  • reduces double handling and delay points
  • reduces the overall time it takes to complete an application
  • reduces the time spent assessing each application
  • reduces the time it takes to approve each application
  • tracks the progress of a request
  • ensures compliance by attaching correct documentation to application
  • enhances the user experience.

What is involved?

The first phase of delivering this eForm will focuses on digitalising the Functions on Campus application form, BBQ booking application form, the Forestry Fire Pit application form and the process flow to facilitate the approval of these events.
