Come to our Wattle Quiz Building Workshop!

We would like to invite you to a Wattle Quiz Building Workshop which will be held 10am - 12pm Thursday 5 September 2019 in the Menzies Library Flex Lab. 

We’ll guide you through how to:

  • create a variety of question types using the Moodle (Wattle) Quiz tool
  • categorise questions
  • tweak quiz settings and scoring

Who is it for?

This workshop is for ANU staff, including academic staff, tutors and demonstrators, and anyone responsible for teaching and learning, and for professional staff who play an education support role.

Who is running it?

Rowena Tayler-Henry

Learning Designer, ANU Online Educational Design

Rowena enjoys coming up with innovative solutions, creating interactive learning experiences and guiding people on how to use Wattle (Moodle), H5P, Zoom and other educational technologies. Before joining the ANU, she taught English to adult migrant and refugee students for eight years (both in the classroom and online). During that time, she undertook a year-long research project to design, develop and evaluate her own suites of web-based self-paced activities for her students and has had a passion for technology-enhanced learning ever since. She also loves animals, Vegan food, singing and world music.

Karlene Dickens

Learning Technologist, ANU Online Education Design

Karlene loves the fluid and dynamic nature of facilitating group discussions and is continuously inspired by the transformation and growth that occurs for both the group as a whole and the individuals within it. Karlene has facilitated numerous groups in diverse settings both face-to-face and online, including corporate, community and university environments.
