The works on Acton Ridge Axis will start around mid of April with site establishment on few differrent locations – Liversidge Street, Balmain Lane and Balmain Crescent.

As part of the stage 1 of these works, vehicular access to Balmain Lane and the Balmain Lane car park (behind the Acton Early Childhood Centre) will change from one way to a two-way road, controlled by temporary traffic lights as shown on the map.

The exit from Balmain Lane to Balmain Crescent will be closed to all traffic to facilitate the construction of the new drop-off area close to Acton Early Childhood Centre.

Further, the east side of the Liversidge Street pedestrian path will be closed to allow trenching for the submersion of the existing overhead powerlines. Pedestrians should use the path on the west side of the road. Traffic and safety signs will be posted in this area.

There are no disruptions to disability access to parking and paths.
