Join us for the final NECTAR research webinar of the year!
Our first speaker will be Charles Martin. Charles is a lecturer in computer science working in music technology, machine learning and human computer interaction. Charles gained his PhD from ANU in 2016 and worked as a post doc at the University of Oslo before returning to ANU last year. Charles will talk about combining music and computer science and different approaches to research and university life in Australia and the Nordic region.
Our second speaker will be Simon Connor. Simon is a fellow in the Archaeology and Natural History unit of the School of Culture, History and Language. His research is about how environments have changed over thousands of years in response to fires, human activities and climate. He's been lucky enough to learn from local communities around the world, and has worked in and out of academia, small business and social enterprise.
